The objective of the marble inspection is to accurately verify the selected stone material and assess its compliance with the objectives of the project to be carried out and the customer’s requests, in order to guarantee the overall quality of the stone and minimize the risks of defects during processing.
Inspection is carried out directly at the place of extraction or in a manufacturer’s warehouse before shipment. The expert carries out the inspection by analyzing the uniformity of the finish, the detailed measurements, the control of thickness and flatness, also he is in charge of reporting any defects and imperfections.
During the inspection activities, a specific report is compiled, called “Inspection Report”, which contains all the relevant technical information with photographic detail of the peculiar characteristics to be reported.
This official document is shared for customer approval and acts as a guarantee that each slab / block chosen fully respects the expectations and needs of the customer.
We apply strict quality controls and continuous inspections at every stage of the project:
- Control of blocks and slabs for compliance with approved samples.
- Inspection of manufactured, semi-finished and cut-to-size materials.
- Verification of required surface treatments such as sealants, anti-slip, anti-graffiti, etc…
- Control of the packaging process and loading into the container.
